Yes, and they modify the distribution of responses depending upon your known preferences. I'm known by twitter, so they show me the positive answers. The bots only populate if I go to twitter on a different browser and am not logged in.
In truth, Twitter could not possibly show all the replies to Trump tweets, as they routinely get 12,000 to 15,000 replies.
In one way, what twitter does makes sense. It's like they've got a party with thousands of people, and they break those people down into groups and show them things they're likely to like.
Where twitter goes hard left is in three ways:
1. The hard left viewpoint is shown to anyone neutral.
2. There are many accounts with 50,000 tweets and less than 100 followers that are probably bots or paid agents. Twitter promotes them into the conversation, and makes no attempt to deplatform bots.
3. Twitter allows horrendous conduct by left leaning accounts, but enforces strict rules on conservative accounts.
Where it got really obvious was with (sp?) the Krassenstein brothers. For about a year, they were always the first two responses to a Trump tweet, and seldom were even responding to the tweet, but were just insulting President Trump. It got so obvious they were paid Twitter trolls that twitter got rid of them.
Thanks for the info on Twitter. I am a small account I do not tweet much, but it’s all about Trump and Q. What strikes me as funny is that I am constantly getting Biden tweets. Well at least I know what they are up to. Also most of the “who to follows” are people or things I would never follow.
