He completed his residency in 2006. After two years of practice, he became an assistant professor at Indiana Univ.
In 2014, Pence appointed him Indiana State Health Commissioner. In 2017, Trump appointed him Surgeon General. That’s a meteoric rise.
With all his appointments, it doesn’t appear he’s had much hands on experience. Sorry, a residency followed by two years of practice doesn’t amount to much. No wonder he can’t figure out whether a mask helps or not and explains all the fumbling folding a bandanna.
