Plus there is a big difference between enforcement of CV19 orders by suspension of a business license versus enforcement through the criminal justice system. Basically state governors have a lot of room in dealing with epidemics through their own orders, but there are also a lot of ways they and their underlings can exceed that emergency authority. Many governors are doing both, which makes things confusing. And makes flat statements like mine pretty silly.

We can agree on that most definitely! I also agree reality gets complicated. We're going to hopefully get a break for 4 or 5 months - and our state legislatures better be acting quickly to make sure that the wrongs evidenced in the past month aren't repeated come winter.
