Does anyone on this forum know that we are still in an ice age? The warmer weather that we currently enjoy is an “interglacial period” and because these interglacials last an average of about 20,000 years we are scheduled to enter full glacial mode in about 9,000 years.

If you look at the chart below you can see that our current interglacial has not yet warmed up as much as the last 4 interglacials. better weather is on the way and it has nothing to do with burning fossil fuels.

Also remember that global sea levels have been continuously rising since the start of this interglacial 11,000 years ago and has never stopped - not once. The current rate of sea level rise is historically slow right now.

I have spent a lot of time in New York City and have seen the exposed bedrock that has glacial grooves in Central Park. Here is a pic of exposed bedrock in Central Park with glacial grooves..
