They can afford to be atheists because they haven’t been surrounded by death their entire lives, so they don’t understand death is a part of life. I worry there is going to be a regression to the mean coming, then they’ll have to believe or go mad. The pandemic was like an earthquake, the economic depression will be the ensuing tsunami. Or you could say the pandemic is like seeing all the water get sucked back out to sea. . .
