Oh - something just occurred to me about how Q has been suggesting we have intel about what’s been happening in Wuhan. They have so many Chinese students coming over that they clearly use to operate spy networks. However many, if not most, probably come here to get away from all that, no matter what they said to get to come here, and even if they’ve been cooperating with the intelligence officers from home. How hard would it be to turn someone like that? Send them over to spy on us, then they go home and spy on them, FOR us. Pretty cool.
I'd wager a LOT of that goes on. Most Chinese citizens love their culture but deplore the graft, corruption, tyranny & arrogance at the top.
And the taste of freedom is like a very powerful drug virtually taking over their whole system. Witness the recent Hong Kong Freedom demonstrations at great personal risk to the many thousands.
