I remember that that was the message. Purple = resistance to President Trump. Seems like we had some discussions about it here at the time - because it was so obvious that both the Clintoons were sending a message with their matching colors (she in a purple dress/jacket and he in a matching tie). IIRC, this was at the inauguration.
