I love to read westerns especially by William W. Johnstone plus his other series. I have hundreds of books on my iPad Kindle.
I forced myself to stop reading on my kindle...which I’m on now being on my porch. I have saved hundreds of books for retirement. I really kicked myself for ignoring them. So I’m reading the real thing and I’ve caught up and have been giving my books away. Books aren’t easy to find nowadays...There was a period people couldn’t give them away...now the newer editions people haven’t bought. I’ve been buying from Amazon used in Canada sometimes. Writers seem to only have a small amount of their books published in print. Not good. Reminds me of Fahrenheit 451.
I got all westerned out. Read everything by Louis L’Amour.
Then got hooked on Johnstone -
When I started, I had Amazon email when new editions of any Johnstone books came out....filled up my maile box.
The multiple Mountain Man series darned near wrecked me...I still haven’t finished.
Change of pace was the Ashes series.
Got thru half of the MacCallister series and I was done.
