I believe that we have narrowly avoided a peaceful coup.
Civil war may still be coming. Capitulation is now off the table.
Armed citizenry, even in Michigan? That’s not a recipe for a totalitarian makeover.
Actually that reaction provides a basis for more gov. control. Unless most of the US goes along with the liberty seekers, then the gov. will use dissent as a pretext for harsher measures against them.
The Governors, if they’re smart, they will start to reduce restrictions gradually. Many states are doing that. Not in California and Michigan though.
