do you have any info on how that bean is less gassy? Can’t find any info online abut it really- The Mayo Gaba bean from mexico is supposed to cause less gas- but they are a southern bean- doubt they’d grow in north-=

Probably the low-gas beans either have less of the particular sugar that causes gas, or they contain an extra enzyme that makes that sugar more digestible.

I don't have an actual lab analysis yet, I'm planning to get one when I'm a little closer to making it machine harvestable. But I can tell you that I have never gotten gas from them. And I'm the kind of person who will get gas from any member of the legume family, except for this one. My family members who have eaten it also didn't have the side-effects that normal beans would give them.
