I hesitate to answer but as I understand it, and please anyone correct me who knows better, but as I understand the way this is presented, there is a pervasive “institutional rape culture” which fosters (or at least tolerates) sexual assault, and anyone who does not accept the word of a female accuser is protecting that “rape culture”.
The boys at the Washington Post and New York Times get off on rape... that must be what’s stopping them from dealing with this fairly. Can’t think of another reason for their sexist horrible treatment of this woman...
