You know, up until a few years ago, Jay was singing that song on the Vegas circuit and he could still hit that falsetto high note, just incredible.

The road band used by Jay and the Americans (Jay Black) included a couple of guys named Donald Fagen & Walter Becker.

I think they (Fagen & Becker) tried to start a band of their own but “settled” for studio musicians.

I just can’t recall the name of that band...
