So, exactly what are your qualifications? Are you an MD, immunologist or epidemiologist? The doctor who posted that comment is not the only MD who has that opinion. Listen to this video and please explain how these MDs are wrong - if you can.
The primary author is a practicing medical physician in my home state of Alabama. He is not a research physician, immunologist, or epidemiologist. I’m sure his beliefs are sincere, and he has every right to express his opinion to elected officials who can review his claims, check out his qualifications, and submit for peer review if needed.
However, public blast like these are disruptive if not destructive! He is claiming to be a representative of the medical profession and is offering opinion, as if it were fact, based on his limited understanding of all data sources and controversies. Is the physician privy to all facts and figures that policy makers and research physicians would have? As I noted earlier, he gave incorrect data for projected Alabama death rates that supported his opinion. Public blast by “experts” without peer review and interaction with policy experts act to create more mistrust and confusion in the general public.
