The expected mortality rate for Sweden was 69 per million whereas Denmark was 39 per million.

Sweden is now 217 and Denmark is 73.

Too soon to tell. Sweden is playing the long game. Taking all the hits up front to end it sooner and save lives in the “long” run.

Are they right? Who knows, but you sure can’t tell NOW in the middle (or beginning) of the game. Taking this course was ALWAYS going to have higher consequences in the beginning.

So all the carping at Sweden NOW is pointless and more importantly MEANINGLESS. Time will tell.

It will also tell about the shutdown/lower the curve strategy. If it was wrong, there will be more deaths on the back end.

Maybe it will be a wash, except that we DESTROYED our economy for nothing.

We probably won’t know for sure for up to a YEAR! If ever the real TRUTH.
