I saw the same crap by workers at funeral homes, so I did some research, in the US there is around 7000 deaths every day in the US, CDC shows this number way down , I think around 1500 a day, so the empty body bags number should be growing, not the other way. Call your local funeral home and ask how is biz?

I just tried to check the CDC on this, interesting that the page I wanted is not available. If this is true this is because people are not going to the hospital for elective surgeries, etc., makes you wonder.

From days long ago when I did hospital purchasing, I recall the number of body bags at even a large hospital was relatively small. Easy to run out if there are an unusual number of hospital deaths compared to people dying at home. Not sure that’s really a ‘shortage’ as in ‘none available anywhere’.
