(NOTE: LINEAR means the "Average" number of new cases daily is unchanging, though it has started to swing significantly above and below that average for reasons I do not fully comprehend as yet.)
Remember the 2003 SARS outbreak? There were a total of eight (8) cases of SARS in the U.S. Nevertheless, CDC "Committed more than 800 medical experts and support staff to work on the SARS response," according to their website.

This is the lowest number we’ve seen since March in spite of increased testing, I think we are on the downward side of the curve and it will start to drop ever faster.
I think the pressure to reopen much sooner is going to skyrocket.
Thanks again for posting the numbers...they are headed in the right direction.

hit 7 digits (which looks like a big number), but still a decrease in yesterday’s daily increase.

I do wonder if there might be some way to include the recovery numbers. It is kinda bleary to only see how many new people are getting sick without seeing the numbers that are recovering.
It may not be a number to ascertain but I thought I’d ask.
thanks Dis...I don’t want to jinx it, but if today’s numbers are in the low-mid twenties, then we may be on to something?
Thank you for posting these numbers.
Is it possible to include the hospitalized as well?
Since we have been hearing that 20-30% of the population has already had it, I expect the new cases to skyrocket as more testing is performed, especially if they are testing for the anti-bodies.
