Listen jerk, I see the fear in people’s eyes every day. The same folks you’re saying are trying to prevent the spread of the virus are leaving their used gloves, masks, wipes, and drink boxes all over the parking lot. EVERY day. Maybe you and yours are acting out of a sense of responsibility, but most people only care about themselves. Maybe you just can’t handle the truth.

Now, show me where I made fun of anyone wearing a mask.

1. I had a double PE about 5 years ago and my lungs have scar tissue.

2. Masks are not to protect you, but protect others from you. Many people with the virus are asymptomatic and could be spreading it.

3. My business has been shut down by our asshat Governor and the only way we are bringing in ANY income is selling masks we are making at home to friends.

When I’m sanding sheetrock repairs, cutting/grinding stone/brick, sawing MDF (medium density fiberboard) or in the attic walking in insulation. I’d be a fool not to.

That was my thought, too. I already had a couple of N-95 masks purchased a few years ago. Did these macho machismo anti mask guys fail shop class? Did they never own a table saw or spray toxic aerosols of any type and description?

I’ve yet to be laughed at, and I’m older and am at some risk. If someone wants to point & laugh, it’s a sign of their mindset, and it all it will do is confirm their asshattery to everyone around them.

I’m surprised that groceries out here aren’t offering them for sale. Hoarders would buy them all unless it was one mask per visit. But you can get by with a bandana or most anything that looks like a mask.

I have one my doc’s office gave me. Every time I wear it I’m always touching my face to adjust it which is what you aren’t supposed to do.

Since no one can know anyone’s motivation outside their own mind, then maybe YOU’RE the one projecting. All I can do is make judgments based on the behaviors I observe. Callousness and indifference to the welfare of others by leaving tainted waste for others to pick up after they have “protected” themselves in a public place. Palpable fear in shoppers eyes when one steps within a much larger perimeter than the six foot recommendation. Don’t be naive.
