As long as Biden thinks he’s the nominee, who’s going to tell him otherwise? Does he even know what some of his opposition and his supporters are thinking of his mental status?
Let’s see if I’m reading this right. To stop Bernie from getting the Democrat nomination, Red China releases a virus that devastates their economy and earns them the mistrust of the entire world.
That’s a bridge too far for me.
I’d say that the virus has nothing to do with Bernie or Biden. Biden was always waiting in the wings, should Bernie pull ahead of his rivals. Bernie pulled ahead. So Biden entered the race.
Coincidence - what were Democrat told when they all except one, dropped out the night before ‘Super Tuesday’? If a Democrat, I would have encouraged all to stay in because the front runners were not strong candidates.
My money is on no convention at all. (I am from Milwaukee) Telephone conversation by acclamation nominating Biden and Big Mike for VP. And then an Arkanside.

I wouldn’t put it past the Dems to try to replace Biden. But with who? I think Cuomo and Newsom are aiming for 2024. They’re gun grabbers, but they’re not dumb, and they know that going up against any incumbent can be an uphill battle.
I think they might be stuck with him. Keep in mind too that many in the media truly have no idea how out of touch they ar. They really think that by ignoring the Tara Reade story or ignoring the FBI corruption with Michael Flynn that the story will just magically go away (the stories aren’t going away). I think that many of them truly do think that they can cover for him through November.
There were two defining moments of the 2016 campaign for me. One was when Trump famously said “Only Rosie O’Donnell” in the Republican debate. The other was when John Oliver ran his “Drumpf” skit. I was just thinking...is that really the best you can do? I wasn’t even offended. I was just thinking...this isn’t that good. Look, obviously I’m right wing, but I recognized when some of the left wing attacks against Bush for example were effective. This wasn’t. It was just silly. But the left really thinks it’s working - which is why they’re going to lose.
The Progressive agenda is to destroy Western Civilization and place a corrupt totalitarian dictatorship in charge. This process has been happening on every possible level and segment of society in every nation on all of Planet Earth. The sum total of the process is death, destruction, corruption, and stupidity at every level of human life on a planetary scale. The progressive agenda is a vast conspiracy akin to termites chewing on healthy wood.
If the majority of American voters somehow select an obviously demented, corrupt, creepy,open borders, socialist as their President, then the American nation and republic has run its course.

This has been an interesting possibility since an infirm Joe cleared, or the Rat leadership cleared, the primary field. I, of course, have no idea what to expect. But I think it could have been a two phase Rat plan to have first stopped Bernie, since independents and swing-state voters don’t seem to care much for socialism in polls I’ve seen. And second, the Rats could have then decided to wait a while longer to give them and Trump more time to hurt his chances enough to give them flexibility in picking a ticket down the road. Just a guess...
