Well, I would not get the vaccination for this virus. It has not been tried/tested etc.
After my stem cell transplant, I was revaccinated for every childhood vaccine again. (When they decimate the bone marrow before giving the donor stem cells, all previous immunities and exposure to prior vaccines, viruses, bacteria’s, etc is destroyed too). I still have not been revaccinated with the MMR.
I developed CMV while going thru treatment for AML and they asked me if I’d like to be part of a CMV vaccine clinical trial for those going thru stem cell transplant. I volunteered. I was so sick thru the transplant, I can’t tell you what was the cause as you can imagine the process puts you thru the ringer. But, about a months after the sct, the CMV was no longer detectable. I say all this to point out I’m not anti vaccine. But, This virus is sketchy and I don’t want part of the vaccine.
So, My view is this vaccine should given by choice.
Just asking.
Most flubros are mandatory vaxxers too.
