the title is a bit misleading. Chinese have always been open about racism towards white ‘monkeys’ aka ‘losers back home’ and black people. They’ve been brainwashed that all civilizations are beneath China. It’s the same attitude displayed in our own countries when angry auntie and angry uncles push past you with ‘that look’. A running joke is that they can harass foreigners all they wanted in China, and when they went to the foreigner’s countries, they’d find a way to sue them to get their money, too. The comment yesterday, that Australia was ‘gum on the shoe’ of China, and that America ‘was lying through their teeth’ came from that general attitude.
