So far Germany has manage it pretty well compare to the rest of Europe and New York.

Maybe the US State Governors need to take notes from Germany.

The good news we have two available treatments that appear to work against the Virus. We are in better shape then we were a month ago.

“The number (R0) should stay below one, that is the big goal, (for Germany)”

They crept up from 0.7 under lockdown to 0.96, so it appears they are near the limit of social activity to prevent increase. They have (with social distancing) opened stores, schools, parks, zoos, museums, etc. Masks are optional but common in most places and required on buses and trains. I assume there is some kind of fever screening and other precautions at work to reduce infections in the workplace. Seems livable for the short term, and probably similar to what we will see in our cities in coming weeks. People living in lower population densities should see fewer restrictions while rural populations can pretty much return to normal, only taking precautions when the go into a town that still has infections.

The question is, how long do you live like that?
