Federal Bureau of Investigations Director Christopher Wray fought to prevent exculpatory evidence from surfacing in the case of President Donald Trumps former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, a source with direct knowledge of the situation tells Daily Caller.
New court documents were filed in Flynns case Friday containing the aforementioned exculpatory evidence, commonly referred to as Brady Material. Flynns attorney, Sidney Powell, announced the new filing on Twitter. She has repeatedly accused the FBI and Justice Department of hiding evidence in the case.
This afternoon, the government produced to Mr. Flynn stunning Brady evidence that proves Mr. Flynns allegations of having been deliberately set up and framed by corrupt agents at the top of the FBI, Powell wrote in an additional filing. The government has deliberately suppressed this evidence from the inception of this prosecutionknowing there was no crime by Mr. Flynn.
Since August 2016 at the latest, partisan FBI and DOJ leaders conspired to destroy Mr. Flynn, she continued. These documents show in their own handwriting and emails that they intended either to create an offense they could prosecute or at least get him fired.
Powell claimed that more exculpatory evidence in the case will surface in the future.

If this proves to be true he must be fired at least - if not prosecuted.
Fire Wray!
EXCLUSIVE: Source Says FBI Director Christopher Wray Pushed To Withhold Exculpatory Evidence In Mike Flynn CaseUPDATE: "The assertion that Director Wray pushed to withhold exculpatory evidence in the Michael Flynn case is absolutely false.https://t.co/lEHssl4yhW— Lisa Mei Crowley 🐸 (@LisaMei62) April 25, 2020
UPDATE 5:40 pm ET: After publication, FBI Assistant Director of Public Affairs Brian Hale delivered the following statement to Daily Caller
The assertion that Director Wray pushed to withhold exculpatory evidence in the Michael Flynn case is absolutely false. This is a developing story and will be updated with new information as it becomes available.
Wray is one of Trump’s many disastrous picks.
Firing squad for two - Brennan and McCabe. Where I come from its called “justice” and a “start”.
“I vote Sidney Powell for AG. Shed have the mess cleaned up in less than four years. Actually Id put her in charge of the ATF and CIA too.”
************************************************************
I can only imagine the following resulting mutiny by our beloved Republican Senators, if Trump dared to nominate someone who could or would get to the truth of the matter. Fat chance. “Our” Dear Republican Senators are as corrupt as the worst of Dems. Others expect Trump to work miracles. He is but one man surrounded by corruption, and daily being given corrupt advice by corrupt aides.
Trump must truly love this country to put up with the stuff he has to put up with. All with little appreciation.
Better question...why did Trump appoint Wray in the first place?
“He knew”
You cannot support that assertion with evidence.
“Better question...why did Trump appoint Wray in the first place?”
My guess is that he trusted Chris Christie. Christie recommended Wray for the job.
I knew Wray was deeeep the moment I heard/saw him!
Exactly. Exposure. The public needs to know about these monsters.
Tree.
Christopher Wray.
>> Why does Trump keep people like this in the FBI?
Because the feckless AGs manage to convince him otherwise.
What will they do to Wray?
Who the hell is advising Trump?
Even the most evil people in the world (including even Osama, Obama, Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and Pelosi) are entitled to exculpatory evidence. The corruption of the globalist left disgusts me. This coup is a naked power grab, and they do not care how little of the United States is intact - so long as they can rule over the residue with an iron fist.
I believe there is some order of succession for FBI top positions.
Line of succession[edit]
The line of succession for the Director of the FBI is as follows:[16]
1.Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation
2.Associate Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation
3.Executive Assistant Director of the National Security Branch
4.Executive Assistant Director for Criminal, Cyber, Response and Services
5.Assistant Director of Counterterrorism Division
6.Assistant Director of Criminal Investigative Division
7.Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Division
8.Assistant Director, Washington Field Office
9.Assistant Director, New York Field Office
10.Assistant Director, Los Angeles Field Office
Ah, not so. Hoover was the first Director of the FBI.
Wray needs to hang with all the rest of the COUP PLOTTERS!
