That is what happened to me today, it asked for banking info so I put in all info.
I heard on a radio station this morning that the IRS had a glitch in their system and it was putting out the “Status” message but should be resolved today.
Keep trying.
I was getting the “Status” message, too, but was able to put direct deposit info in today. It still isn’t very user-friendly.
