But now a WHO based organization is claiming it's making a vaccine from Hanks' blood. I suspect the entire reason for naming Hanks in this vaccine effort is to tap into celebrity culture worship - people who would ordinarily be skeptical about a vaccine would eagerly accept it if it is associated with Tom Hanks, or any other of their favorite celebrities.

And it works so well for HIV etc. They also had to react to people saying if Hanks really had it then use his blood for a plasma cure...

Maybe common people who survive Covid don’t develop antibodies to fight off a second infection but the important, elite like Hanks do. So those heroes like Hanks can donate to help made a vaccine because he is so special. /s
