The advantage of the LEDs is that they are very efficient, and can
maintain their power for tens of thousands of hours of operation without
weakening or failing.
Normal gas based UVC lamps weaken after as little as 4000 hours or less and need to be replaced.
It will be hard to tell if the LEDs in a particular device are strong enough
if the manufacturer doesn’t care to tell you the irradiance specs.
(Unless you buy a $250 UVC meter, like I did.)

The method of delivery by Trump, is imo, deliberate and intended to accomplish exactly what it accomplishes. He draws out the frauds by troll and then the info is released that shows the frauds to be frauds in a manner the gen pop can understand.
The problem a lot of people have with his delivery is we’re accustomed to the highly polished, empty, meaningless mumbling of professional conmen giving speeches written by focus committees created to tell us exactly what we want to hear with no care about actual truth.
