This constant unrelenting need to minimize it, to make a job of it, to deem it, “just the flu.”
How utterly condescending to add other arguments where none was made. The point about the being up or down 10% isn’t about the number. It’s about the tens of thousands of Americans who died in recent weeks.
The profane need to project beyond and project arguments never made is almost as bad.
