Heh, I now have the new worry of a nice big chunk of filling falling out of a molar. While I was eating a “dunked-in-milk” graham cracker!

A lot of the dentists around here are presently offering only emergency services. What good timing... /s

How the heck does one get worked on @ the dentist safely? I guess if the dentist and his / her staff are super careful, their and my risk can be reduced somewhat...

I also noticed that temporary dental cement is not in stock at places like Wal-Mart. Makes sense... A couple local stores say they have it in-store - looks like an unplanned trip to town, tomorrow. Might as well make up the needed supplies list, too.

Depending on the infection rate where you live, it’s probably worth the risk. Dental infections probably carry higher risk than CV19. I was surprised a few days ago when my doctor’s office called me to confirm an appointment. I was sure I was not “essential”. I went in and was treated. Empty waiting room, no wait, no interns in the room. Just me and the doc. In and out in 15 minutes. There were no CV patients in the building I was in, so it seemed like a reasonable risk. The only “oops” was finding out during the appointment that my doctor works at a drive through CV19 test site once a week...

There are a few different emergency repair kits on Amazon.

Dentemp Repair Kit containing: Maximum Strength Dental Cement, Refilit Lost Filling Repair, Recap-It Loose Caps, 1 Kit (Packaging May Vary)

There are mixed reviews on it. I think it has more to do with the dental emergency and quality of buildup on crowns. Best.
