Wray would be a good bet.
On April 7 Trump fired IC IG Michael Atkinson and said he planned to fire 6 others, or 7 total. It’s odd that simply Google searching fails to produce a list, but here’s what I’ve put together:
Michael Atkinson, IC
Glenn Fine, Defense and Coronavirus
Dept. of Education IG
Tennessee Valley Authority IG
Trump has also attacked the work of the top inspector general of Health and Human Services, Christi Grimm - is she on the list?
That’s the extent of those I’ve found by name or office.
Reagan fired them all and put his own choices in the IG positions that are appointed by the President (not all are).
It just seems damned strange that Trump said he’s firing 7 Inspector Generals and no one has published a list of their names and organizations.
I say that after spending 15 minutes searching. If it’s out there someone needs to tell Google.
Trump named a White House lawyer, Brian Miller, to oversee the $500 billion business assistance fund in the Congressional relief package.
In Fines place, Trump named acting Inspector General of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Sean ODonnell to oversee the massive spending package. The President also tapped a senior policy official at Customs and Border Protection, Jason Abend, to be the new inspector general at the Pentagon and supervise Fine.
The day that happened I published the list I got from the White House web site as I recall. It didn’t say he was firing them, it just listed their replacements ;)
