Was Trump the Only One in Washington Innocent of Russian Collusion?

Catherine Herridge confirmed recently that the FBI ignored warnings that the primary evidence used in securing a FISA warrant against Carter Page, Christopher’s Steele’s “dossier,” is unreliable “Russian disinformation.” Herridge is as fine an investigative reporter as they come, but my gut reaction was, “Haven’t we known that for years now?”

Then reality smacked me in the face, and I remembered: we’re still pretending as a country that Barack Obama’s FBI and CIA didn’t work with Fusion GPS, Hillary Clinton, and the Democrat party to frame Donald Trump as an agent of the Russian government.

I suppose the longer the attempted coup against the president has endured, the easier it is to forget that the U.S. government has done everything in its power to cover up the criminality of its intelligence agencies and preferred political players, while obfuscating the public record with a steady stream of disinformation from the corporate news.

From the points of view of the DC Leviathan and its complicit praetorian press, if there is no signed statement or recorded confession from Obama, Clinton, Brennan, Comey, Lynch, Yates, McCord, McCabe, Nuland, Rice, Strzok, Simpson, Steele, either Ohr, or any of the other countless conspirators involved, then nothing nefarious happened. (Funny how the crimes against Donald Trump require overwhelming intent and evidentiary proof in triplicate form, while every scurrilous allegation against him becomes front page news in the New York Times and is chased down by criminal investigators at every jurisdictional level.)

This is a pretty good piece as a summary of what occurred. It is stunning when you step away from it, but few are capable of doing that. The false narrative has been pounded into people for over 3 years to the point that many who rely on the life side of the media spectrum still believe to this day that Trump colluded with Russia and that he does Putin’s bidding.

It amazes me.

Trump has been harder on Russia and China than any President before him by any measure. On top of that, he has also held our allies feet to the fire on agreements and paying their fair share. Their narrative is thwarted by the his actions at every turn yet they still believe it because the media told them so repeatedly.

The only way this can be prevented within the deep state is if those responsible are prosecuted with the same vigor that the deep state went after Trump’s associates. There is no doubt in my mind that these people will go after Trump’s family and business when they regain power. They are already attempting this in New York and I do not see how his business can remain there after he leaves office. They are full of hate for him and will do anything to destroy him. We will be subjected to the Schiff show for another year over coronavirus after just enduring months of Ukrainegate and impeachment.

However, if by some miracle Durham charges some of these people the leftist media will defend them with the same vigor they persecuted Trump and public opinion (and a DC jury) will remain divided about a lie.

The only way to address the partisan media shills at this point is to strip them of immunity so that Trump and his family can sue them like the young man from Covington did for false stories. Without amending defamation laws for public figures the media will continue to assassinate public figures based on lies.

Our media is out of control and far out of bounds. The New York Times (and others) has printed countless lies and they don’t even bother to retract many of them or when they do it is paragraph 20 of a story on page 31 when they printed the lie on page one multiple times and dominated the cable media news cycle.

I think that statement implies widespread active pretense that doesn’t exist. The breakdown is more like this bell curve:
A small portion understand the facts, care, and are disgusted/frustrated.
More have been fooled by media propaganda and their own partisan bias into believing the coup was justified.
The largest group doesn’t know, doesn’t want to know, and wouldn’t understand why it matters if they did know.
Another percentage knows it was a political hatchet job and would rather pretend it away than do something about it.
Another percentage knows it was a political hatchet job and heartily approves or has a conscious vested interest in it.

So about 5 to 10% want something done no matter what the cost. The rest are sheep and wolves.
