True story. If someone leaves me a voicemail, our phone system records it as an mp.3 (maybe wav, don't remember) and emails it to us. Got my "upgrade" and Windows Edge was set to be default program for these audio files. Only problem was, there wasn't a file handler installed. Tried to open the Windows media player, but hey! ain't there anymore. Dell installed their media player, so try to open with that, and it immediately starts cataloging every image and audio file on my computer, but DOESN'T open the file I asked it to open. Also asks me to click on an upgrade to the Dell Media Center, whatever that is, and takes me to the Microsoft Store. Called IT, and they said, oh yeah, it does that. Just close the upgrade options.
Our IT is terrified of hackers, but contracts with Dell that installs adware as part of the Windows install.

That’s odd, it is on mine. I’m running Windows 10 Pro version 10.0.18362
