Essentially bogus. It’s someone moving the markets because options expire at the end of Friday. Results were similarly released last week from trials underway for the exact same drug. They looked nothing at all like what’s being reported right now.

In the meantime the epidemic is running its course in Marseille, France. Check this page, both the fact that the patients receiving HCQ/AZ has a low observed mortality,and the fact that the epidemic is starting to abate.
