*** I picked up a great tool this last week for the beds. B&D did it again. Pure genius and saves on some of the back breaking work. ***

Country of Origin???

I bought a bunch of gardening stuff at Tractor Supply, Lowes, and Home Depot today.
All but the potting soil, and assembled in USA from global components weed block were manufactured in China.

Ya, we stocked up on garden stuff a cpl months ago.

Extra hoses, hose parts, gloves, etc.

Lawn mower parts were at the top of the list. I don’t have a herd of goats handy.

We didn’t expect shutdown. We DID expect ‘inconveniences’ due to lack of stuff appearing in our ports. Late Jan/early Feb we tried to brainstorm of what we might ‘need’ in an average year that was dependent on MIC stuff.

I don't know. What I read was B&D hired the top 3 electrical engineers from Dewalt. B&D then gave autonomy to design and develop all of the different battery operated yard products.

I just checked. Problem. Made in China. No reason this can't be manufactured in the US.

Funny. When I pick something up that is made in China now, I can't think of anything but disease and need to wash my hands.

I'm game for products made in the USA. I have the B&D 10" 20Volt chainsaw. Am looking for a 12" now. Shame. The 10" worked great for clearing a dropped tree and cutting smaller diameter firewood. It was the first chainsaw that didn't leave an oil mess after use or in storage.
