PONDERING; pandering for opinions.

It was great when President Trump whacked the media with a knock-out punch at Monday’s Covid 19 briefing. But there’s something about President Trump’s – Fire Fauci tweet that I can’t quite work out.

When he was asked about the tweet the President said he had no intention of firing Dr. Fauci. He went on to say he knew exactly what it said when he tweeted it. The news media never asked a follow up question as to why he tweeted it then.

Then when they got to ask Dr. Fauci questions, the media never asked him what his thoughts were about that tweet. The closest they came was when a reporter asked him if his comments were voluntary, which Dr. Fauci bristled at.

Question: What was the point of that tweet? Was the President showing Fauci and others the nature of pure hatred the media cabal has toward him? It shows to what length and which way the media’s mindset goes when the President presents them with not so straight forward answers. I reiterate – Were your comments voluntary Dr. Fauci?

Dr. Fauci’s response of basically saying “don’t even insinuate that” may be an answer to two questions. The first went to the media and the next went to the President, who set the media up with the tweet to prove a point. Does anyone suppose that Drs. Fauci and Brix are being further red pilled into what is going on? Are they being shown more directly how truly evil, “these people are sick,” anti-American this world is? - OR - Is this another red pill examination to help introduce the evil cabal to the normies?

JMHO

I thought the main reason he retweeted it was because of the main content, showing Fauci’s comments....pointing out that at that point Fauci wasn’t calling for a shutdown. Reinforcing that POTUS wasn’t ignoring advice...

The tweet happened to have the # asking to fire Fauci.

POTUS didn’t seem to be bothered that the hashtag was there or supporting the sentiment at this point.

Speaking of game theory, the safest move for the MSM right now is not to play, i.e, not to ask any questions at all. Trump is able to turn every single question to his advantage, informing the American public about what he and his administration are doing and the positive results that are being achieved.

I’m wondering if that tweet was Trump responding to the Fauci waves to the press. Two can play that game. He forced Fauci to have to respond about voluntary comments. I also seem to remember a few briefing earlier when Trump and the army guy (can’t remember name) were not briefed about a report and Trump was paying back for that issue.
