Another good in depth interview with the late Dave McGowan regarding Laurel Canyon, and CIA involvement in creating the hippie counter-culture. Dave McGowan wrote at least one book on this subject, and there are many other interviews with him talking about this subject out on YouTube.

This is something interesting that I just stumbled upon. It’s from Numberphile, a math website that publishes math related videos and podcasts. I was surprised to see a new podcast that was related to coronavirus. The gist of the podcast is that Hannah Fry, a mathematics professor and one of the sites contributors, participated in a BBC program in 2018 that was based on the premise that a pandemic from China was inevitable. It enlisted Hannah to help to develop a model on how pandemics spread among the population. Towards that end they did a study where they asked people to volunteer to be essentially tracked so data could be gathered on how people interact with one another, and how that would effect the spread of a contagion during a pandemic.
I don’t suggest that Professor Fry has any inkling that she may have been unwittingly used to determine the most effective way to spread the virus rather than determine the best way to prevent its spread, but that seems like a strong possibility to me. The program was produced by the BBC, which should make it suspect right there.
