Not yet. DH ran the numbers for us. He said the refund is based on 2018 return figures. But if you’ve already filed your 2019 return, it’ll be based on that. We filed already and will receive much less $$ than we would have if we’d waited later to file. (Once again, people who do the right thing are penalized.)

Not always. My 2019 AGI was slightly less than my 2018. I’ll be getting a few dollars more than if I had not filed in 2019. Just a few dollars, maybe $15, but still more because I’d filed my 2019.
