Sharing some interesting news from my wife's practice. First, EPIC did a software upgrade early this morning and erased all COVID-19 (red letter) warning from the patient files. Second, ID came by because some health system administrators wanted infected to be seen outpatient in the practice office. They went ballistic. Waiting to hear more about the fallout from this one. I wish I ate popcorn.

When you promote administrators who were already incompetent, don't expect them to become anymore competent during an emergency that requires systems thinking.
