ITALY
Coronavirus in Italy, 159,516 positive cases and 20,465 deaths. Intensive care, -2.5%.

In Italy, since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, at least 159,516 people have contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus (3,153 more than yesterday for a 2% growth). Of these, 20,465 (+566, + 2.8%) died and 35,435 (+1,224, + 3.6%) were discharged. Currently the positive subjects of which there is certainty are 103,616 (the count rises to 159,516 - as mentioned above - if in the calculation there are also the dead and the cured, ie counting all the people who have been found positive to the virus since the beginning of the epidemic). The data were provided by the Civil Protection.

I’m not sure I understand what they are saying here:

Positives also increased proportionally, 1,262 in one day on fewer swabs.
It also increased in the city of Milan

The number of coronavirus deaths in Lombardy is still increasing, even if it stops at the official numbers of patients subjected to swabs: in the last 24 hours they have been 280, reaching a total of 10,901. In the previous 24 hours there were 110. “Data not so satisfactory”, says the councilor for Welfare of Lombardy Giulio Gallera in the usual press conference. Which, as regards the data - still growing - in Milan, says a phrase that throws the ball in another field: “In Milan there are still a lot of people around, as you know the controls are up to the police and to the local police. “
