Former NFL quarterback Tarvaris Jackson died in a car crash on Sunday night. He was 36.
Jackson died in a crash in Alabama, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, according to a spokesperson for Tennessee State University.

I just saw that in his Wikipedia page. BROKE. One of the most important qualities of a QB - intelligence! You must be smart. Unless there were some odd circumstances he wasn’t smart if he was broke while earning $1m/yr for 10 years...same reason he never ended up a great QB.

Back when he was playing for the Vikings I attended the funeral of a die hard Vikings fan who had died suddenly under some tragic circumstances.
As part of his memorial service some of his last words were read from the pulpit, which included a denunciation of Jackson and his quarterback play for the Vikes.
Awkward and very uncomfortable.
