Oh yeah! It’s basically a server in laptop form. Crazy powerful and expensive. Plus they specifically mentioned it when they said it was temporary. It’s a good small company and they’ve never had a layoff before this. I actually report directly to the director of operations even though I’m not a manager. I’m like Rambo. :D
I’m using this time to get my lawn in order, my firewood restocked, my raised veggie beds and containers done and once that’s done to reconfigure my chicken paddocks. If I’m bored after that I’m going to redo the stockade fence in my front yard.
I have so much to do it’s ridiculous and it’ll all be done way ahead of where I’d be if I was working. I find alcohol helps too.

The first computer I bought in ‘89 cost about that. I financed it. Nice pc.
