I call BS on both. The number of cases in NY is almost unchanged the past half a dozen days, but the hospitalizations are WAY down and the number of people successfully leaving ventilators going way up.
That has nothing whatsoever to do with “mitigation”. That’s about the hydroxychloroquine combo therapy that Fauci won’t approve of ever and probably the Vitamin C IV’s that I read they’re even administering in NY’s largest hospital chain.
First of all when these two idiots stood there 4 days ago and down graded the models to 100,000 - 200,000 deaths WITH the mitigation in place supposedly the deaths were at these new numbers BECAUSE of the mitigation NOW these two asshats are saying that the death rate will only be 60,000 this has all been been the biggest hoax ever hoisted on the American people my God we had 67,000 deaths from the flu in 2018 BUT it wasn’t an election year SO CRICKETS!!
Social distancing is anecdotal, actually. If the virus spreads by touch primarily, social distancing is not a solution as far as airborne is concerned.
