Here in Wisconsin, there were local schools shut down in the middle of winter because so many teachers and students were out of school sick. A good friend of mine and his wife were very ill a couple of months ago too. He recently described the symptoms to me, and says they both believe they had Kung Flu. They were very ill and it hung on a long time. He sounded relieved it was finally over.
When I called the doc’s office, I was told that “everyone” had some respiratory virus, wasn’t necessarily flu. I live in a valley about 25 miles long, fairly remote. She said it was very hard to shake. DH and I still don’t feel 100%.
