What were his symptoms, if you don’t mind my asking. I came down with a fairly persistent cold right around my birthday (March 15). It was pretty uncomfortable for about 4-5 days (persistent hacking cough) after which it improved but lingered for about 2 weeks. Unpleasant but I don’t think it was coronavirus.
It started with the worst sore throat he’s ever had and then progressed to him being short of breath and not being able to cough it up. He is independent curmudgeon and continued to work and though I offered what I had he never took advantage of it until toward the end when his boss told him he needed a Z-Pak and he called and got one from me. By the end of the 5 days he was well and coughing up brown crud.
With my GD in December it was the same, she was alone and called me and I brought her a nebulizer and after that she could breath, but she was in a panic when she called me. Her boyfriend, a week or so later had the same problems so bad at a party we were having and came to me and asked if he could use the nebulizer because he couldn’t breath.
