Per the Department of Health, they are now confirming 1242 positive tests for COVID-19, an increase of 88 from yesterday.

11 new deaths were reported, raising the statewide total to 50. Yesterday’s new death total was 5.

Currently 145 patients are hospitalized for COVID-19, an increase of 10 from yesterday. 63 patients are in ICU, a decrease of 1 from yesterday.

The median age of all reported cases is 51. The median age of all hospitalized cases is 63. The median age of all deaths is 87.

Of all cases, 52% are female and 48% are female.

By ethnicity, whites comprise 73% of all cases and 88% of all deaths. Blacks comprise 8% of all cases and 2% of all deaths. Hispanics comprise 5% of all cases and 2% of all deaths.
