There are some very good examples of Flubros in action on this thread.

I am one of the original Fearbros. I may be the biggest Fearbro of all time. FearPer, whatever. Yes, I am skerred. No, I do not want this. More importantly I don’t want my mom to get it, and I don”t want to be the one that gives it to her. How in the heck could I live with that?
I don’t have radio channel, a tv channel, or CB or even a walkie talkie to hype my fear to others. I’ve posted about here several times though, it helps to be able to express it in words for some reason.
The Flubros seem to think that such posts being made here are driving what’s happening to them, and view us as their antagonists. They don’t seem to respect my 1st Amendment right at all.
This is one of the reasons that I think they are insane, possibly even dangerously so. These are not rational people.

Their response makes sense, sort of. Their world is upside-down and they find us as a convenient target for their frustrations. You are right that they are not rational. Their level of weapons-grade normalcy bias belongs somewhere on the autism spectrum, IMO.
At this point, everyone is scared.
Some are just too macho to admit it.
