I’m not sure of the details of how they’re congregating. But what, precisely, is the relative risk of social distancing within a synagogue versus everyone staying at home? Is it really much higher? Does anyone really know?
Using the logic that I’m seeing used in this forum, even going to a supermarket or a liquor store or a gun shop makes you a murderer, because that elevates the risk. People who condemn these congregations but argue otherwise are just deciding for others what is “essential” activity, and what is not.
I thought this was a free country.
sadly it is no longer. The churches on the left continue to hold their daily sacrifices in abortuaries, the pot shops are open, subways and public transit remain open but religious services are proscribed and vilified.
