Boris Johnson stable condition....

LONDON — Boris Johnson’s condition was “stable” during his first night in intensive care with Covid-19, Downing Street said Tuesday afternoon.

The prime minister “remains in good spirits,” his official spokesperson said, and was receiving “standard oxygen treatment and breathing without any other assistance.” He has “not required mechanical ventilation or non-invasive respiratory support,” the spokesperson said.

Political leaders from across the world have wished Johnson a speedy recovery, including Donald Trump who also suggested U.S. pharmaceutical firms could offer assistance with new potential drug treatments.

Responding, Johnson’s spokesperson said: “We’re grateful for all of the warm wishes the PM has received overnight,” but added the government was “confident the prime minister is receiving the best possible care from the NHS. Any treatment that he receives is a matter for his doctors.”

Good, he sounds better, they probably gave him Trump’s elixir meds.

Well, I had my first excursion anywhere in 8 weeks, taking my pup to get neutered. I wish it could have waited but his buddy will be coming into heat in the next few months...

I “geared up”, n95 mask, gloves, hat, raincoat with hood, and glasses.

Anyway, they came out and got the pup from me In the parking lot. No other cars or people around. I met them a little distance away from the car, reached way away to hand them the leash and signed something. I kept about 10 feet away when talking. She had no gloves or mask on. She probably thought I was nuts, but who cares at this point. (I may donate some of my gloves to them tho)

Then I took off my gloves, sanitized my hands, got in my car. When I got home I took off my raincoat, hat and shoes and left them in the garage where they will stay for a week or so. I won’t be getting back in my car for at least a week, so not worried about that. I washed my hands, I put my clothes in the wash, then washed my hands again. I took off and sanitized my glasses. Washed my hands. Put on gloves and wiped down all the doorknobs and everything else I touched including the laundry buttons. Washed my hands again.

So... hubby is going to pick up the pup later today, but I am going to put on masks and gloves when dealing with the puppy until Thursday at least.

How did I do?
