Here’s a suggestion: rather than a daily CV thread, perhaps we should begin running an over-under thread predicting future FR retirements? As noted above, while the true believers work through negotiation, there will be periods of anger & lashing out. That’s to be expected, so go ahead and get it out of your system.
But then comes depression, resulting from disappointment that the zombie apocalypse didn’t occur, as well as the dawning realization that the posting history from your ‘nick will be used against you by more aggressive FReepers. And so comes acceptance, when a new ID is created, and a brand new persona is invented and launched to the world.

I agree. This virus appears to be on the downward slope faster than anyone estimated here. They keep revising death numbers lower and lower. That’s a great thing.
Now if this whole thing can serve as a lesson to the USA to bring back manufacturing. Unfortunately these corporations are all on the globalist bandwagon and cheap labor express. It’ll never happen, profits over human lives. Global economy ahead of the national security of the USA.

You could try ozone.
Put them loosely in a big 3 mil garbage bag and put an ozone generator at the open end and then use big rubber bands to seal the bag around the generator and let it pump ozone in the bag for an hour or two. I doubt if anything will survive, but I am not an expert.

Yes, I agree completely. This virus is not going to be the end of the USA as our enemies hoped. How we handle the future is the important thing going forward, and by God it’s time to stop feeding our enemy.
The CCP is the USSR on steroids. I grew up in, and fought the Cold War when it wasn’t so “cold”. America does better as a nation when we have a common enemy, and by using this bioweapon against us, the ChiComs and their Democrat pawns have volunteered to be that enemy.
They should ask Gorbachev how well that works. (Stalin, Hirohito, or Hitler. might have advice as well.) President Trump is this century’s Churchill.
Defend Taiwan, help Hong Kong, logistically cut off the Spratleys, and get in the face of the PLA. They need to mysteriously lose some fishing vessels and aircraft. We have been involved in combat operations nearly continuously for 75 years, and we would crush the PLA in very short order, but for now we need to teach them some manners.
