The virus is real, the threat of it has been grossly oversold. Predictive models being used by policy makers are insanely off... densely populated areas with large shared infrastructure like mass transit will certainly require more exrreme measures and get hit hard but to treat Montana the same as Nyc for this is idiotic...
At this point thr models (even the Lowe end models) have been off by a factor of 4.
Yes if you get it and get a bad case if it its very serious, but they numbers are nowhere near the models... when this is all said and done, there is no doubt in my mind the mortality rate of this thing is going to be far smaller than prediction s as they will discover far far more people have gotten this thing and not required serious medical intervention if any at all.
