Canada could petition to become part of the US. This would be a great win for America and for Canadians to join the greatest country in the world. Maybe Trump should also once again offer to buy Greenland, offering $100,000 and US citizenship to each Greenlander.

I would be just happy if Alberta petitioned America. We have what you want, third largest reserves of energy, and my province would have realrights.

No. We don't need Canada as part of the US. It would take billions to convert their currency, intergrate them in our school systems, economy, everything. For crying out loud we're not some limitless utopia here. Then just about every country on Earth would want to be part of the US.

Read many, many years ago that Canada will break apart because there is nothing holding them together. We went through Hell, the Civil War. It torn us apart however we came together annealed in blood. Canada on the other hand woke up one morning and the Queen said you are free. They never fought for their freedom. Then we have the problem of two languages. The English, western part of Canada are like America. Oil, forests, fishing, hunting, farming just like western USA. They should secede and join USA. Who will stop them?
