Not a medical person here but can’t respirators be used more than once?

Yes, they are a machine, but apparently are plumbed to only service one at a time. Saw a pic where someone had rigged the output to service more than one person. A force multiplier but I'm sure the output would have to be boosted then regulated so all on the machine are getting the proper pressure.

Wew, 2 on one vent, dats not goood.
Had a pt once that was so sick the Doc had one vent for each lung,(that’s a lot of tube down the throat) it worked. Had to have different settings for each vent, one lung worse than the other. Resp. therapist had quite a challenge.
